Living with pain can be exhausting — physically, mentally, and emotionally. Whether your pain is long-term, fluctuating, or difficult to fully explain, it can affect every part of your life.

At The Calm Mind Clinic, I offer a calm, supportive space to explore ways of managing pain differently — helping you feel more in control, more comfortable, and better able to live well alongside it. 

A Different Approach to Pain

Pain is not just physical. It is influenced by the nervous system, stress levels, thoughts, emotions, and past experiences. This means that even when the original cause of pain remains, the way it is experienced can change.

Using a combination of hypnotherapy, coaching, and supportive conversation, we work together to gently influence how your mind and body respond to pain.

This is not about “imagining the pain away” — it is about:

*Calming the nervous system
*Helping reduce the nervous system's sensitivity to pain and stress signals
*Building a sense of safety and control
*Developing practical ways to manage flare-ups

How Hypnotherapy Can Help

In my hypnotherapy sessions you will experience a deeply relaxed and focused state where the mind becomes more receptive to helpful suggestions and new ways of responding. Within sessions, we may explore techniques such as:

All work is collaborative, and you will remain in control throughout.

This approach may be helpful if you are experiencing: Chronic or persistent pain, flare-ups that are difficult to manage and for people who want to support in managing the discomfort that comes from living with chronic health problems. We work at your pace, in a way that feels manageable and supportive.

Sessions take place in a calm, private clinic space designed to help you feel comfortable, safe and supported. My aim is to offer a space where you feel listened to. understood and supported without judgement.
