How do I book an appointment?

Simply fill in the contact form, ring, email or text me. We book in a free consultation on the phone. 

We'll discuss treatment/ support options for you and then book in your session/s. 

Your first appointment begins with a discussion about what has brought you to therapy, your goals, and any relevant medical or personal history. This helps me tailor the session to your individual needs.

Where appropriate, your first session will also include hypnotherapy. Every session is personalised rather than following a standard script.

What is hypnotherapy?

Hypnotherapy uses guided relaxation and focused attention to help you access a calm, receptive state of mind (trance). In this relaxed state, it can be easier to explore thoughts, behaviours and habits that may be contributing to the difficulties you're experiencing. Hypnotherapy is always collaborative, and you remain aware and in control throughout the session.

Many people describe feeling deeply relaxed, calm and focused. Some people notice a pleasant heaviness or lightness in their body, while others simply feel quietly absorbed in the experience. There is no "right" way to experience hypnosis.

Will I lose control during hypnosis?

No. This is one of the most common misconceptions about hypnosis.

You cannot be made to do anything against your values or wishes. Most people describe hypnosis as feeling deeply relaxed, similar to becoming absorbed in a good book or daydream. You remain aware of what is happening and can end the hypnosis at any time if you choose.

What is Coaching?

Coaching involves deep listening and structured questions to empower you to make the changes you want to/ need to to succeed in life.

Coaching is different to counselling: coaching is focused on what you want to acheive, recognising you as the expert in your life, and giving you space to navigate and map out how you want to get there.

Is there parking?

Yes there is free parking outside of the Clinic.

What do people say after their first session?

Every person's experience is different however many clients tell me they leave feeling calmer, more relaxed and better able to switch off from racing thoughts. Some notice changes immediately, while for others those changes develop over the days and weeks that follow. Everyone leaves with tools that they can use to make meaningful lasting change in their lives.
